Abstract: Beilinson and Bhatt have recently found a new approach to the comparison theorems of p-adic Hodge Theory. I will review their method and show how it can be used to define arithmetic syntomic cohomology and to show that "all etale regulators are geometric". This is a joint work with Jan Nekovar.
